Description
A work in progress from my next film (visit http://www.asciipr0n.com/4096/rocketmen/index.html) The background is generated in Terragen and cubic mapped onto a ..cube.. in 3D max. The foreground model is lit with fake global illumination using target spot lights: a ring of blue tinted lights to simulate the sky color, a ring of brownish green lights from below to simulate light from the ground, and a yellowish 'sun' placed roughly where the sun is in the terragen renders.
