Now, together in this room, their hesitant acquaintance turns into a powerful attraction. The glow from the fire seems to spread right through the fibers of their being. The fire glints on her hair, in her eyes, and creates a halo around his light blond hair. She feels his magnetism, and her heart beats faster. The painting on the ceiling, the reclining couches, the soft light from the oil lamps awakens feelings she had never felt before, - nay that she did not even know existed! Now, under his intense gaze, She knows now that she cannot resist him; and that He wants her more than anything in the world. Emberglow - The Fires or Desire the scene in my upcoming Victorian Graphic Novel, that depicts where the Hero, Edwin Ironside, the scion of an ancient Saxon family, and the Governess, Esther Abarbanel, a Crypto Greek Jewess, meet for the 1st time. He has hired her to bear him a child, since his wife suffers from Brucellosis, and is no longer capable of doing so. The romantic love that grows up between them, as a result of this liaison, is the gist of this story. For this render, I used my own modeled Props, the Articulated Lounge. This is a set of Poser Props, that consists of an articulated lounge room with folding walls, floor and elegant painted domed ceiling with a gilt surround. The walls are half-panelled and papered in a custom red and gold wallpaper. Victorian sconce oil lamps are attached to the walls, as well as an elegant mirror. Additional props include a fireplace with an angle iron containing logs, and a fire prop. The fireplace is further accessorised with an ornate fire screen, an articulated brass coal scuttle and scoop, fireplace tongs, a poker and a pusher to tend the fire. Furniture includes two studded leather chaise longue divans, mirror images of each other. A detailed wooden rocking chair and ottoman chair provide additional seating. There is also a coffee table, a brass tray, a decanter for Armagnac (brandy) and snifter glasses. A Poser scene is included, with the furniture arranged in place and the lights set up. This lounge can now be found in the MP.
