Very cute. Just as a suggestion, you may find it helpful to place either a professional diffuser or some simple white tissue paper over your flash. It will help stop your whites blowing out so much. A well lit environment that does not require a flash would be best though! I remember my daughter being this age like it was yesterday. She is now 10! Andrew

To much overexposed, but such a lovely baby...so sweet...love it...I agree with blinkings...it's always hard to do if the flash-light hits the face.....

I rather like the glow. It provides a shift from "pure" reality if that makes any kind of sense. I think with a glow this intense, either from a non-diffused flash, or even from postwork, it would be helpful to play around with the contrast levels, or even duplicating the image layer in Photoshop or the Gimp and setting the new layer "mode" to something like "multiply" which darkens the overall image and really makes subtle details pop. I do rather like the almost dreamy quality of this image, and on full zoom, it does look as if the glow might be an artifact of postwork. It's quite a lovely image, and I do like it immensely.
