Description

MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. Yesterday Lenord kindly shared the parameter for his image "Infestation". My image today is from that same parameter with slight changes and an extra formula added. I puposely did not adjust the positioning so folks interested can see the difference in how some of the basic shapes morph with very little adjustment. It is not meant to be just trying to copy Len's image, it is meant rather to use his as a very well done base and then present how slight adjustments can alter an image. I would one day like to see someone post an interesting parameter such as that and then have everyone that is using MB3D use that exact same parameter and submit the next day altered versions. That could go a long way towards helping new folks get a good feeling for what these changes cause. It would take a fair bit of organizing, and at least a few folks to participate to make it worth while. I would also ask if this happens, the folks participating keep track of what changes they made from the original so it becomes more obvious what is causing what. Have a great day. could have been some of the strange devices of Hieronymus Bosch. looks violent and martial and the yellow/red hotspots support this effect. impressive!

Great image, very mysterious. I need some info: Is it necessary to use Photoshop to apply MB3D or is it also possible with less expensive software?

It doesn't take a lot of tweaks to change the look of an MB3D piece, a rotation here a Fold there, give it an axis flip or add another Formula, infinite possibilities. Super work, looks like at least a z-axis multiplier tweak on internal folds and maybe a julia change but can't discern what the added Formula is though.

Excellent image made with a few changes. This looks like alien helments that are on fire. The red coals under and around these helments appear hot enough for the melt down!!! Great work agin Jim. Hope you are having a good day..

A wonderful deep and dark piece in the Mandelbulb lair Jim! I understand what you mean. We've been having some fun with FE doing similar in a Group I belong to. It is very surprising what can be achieved with just a slight shift from the original, and so addictive!
