Description

The windows of a fashionable department store in downtown Padova some days ago. Sale frenzy occurs at least twice a year here, in winter and summer, and the most coveted for are the big names in fashion such as Versace, Valentino, Gucci and the like. My mom was a 'professional' in ferreting the best prices, while I'm only a person who gets bored with it if I can't find what I'm looking for in a reasonable period of time, which usually means a couple of hours or less, and buys something on sale only whether I really need something new and there is a good relation between price and quality.Actually, I'm more interested in how the shops show their merchandise, the marketing aspect of it, and in this case I like window-shopping as the next woman. I like shopping malls ONLY for the way they look. Okay, I like acquiring new things, but I really don't like to spend a day shopping. Having said that, this is a gorgeous, colorful shot. I love the warmth of the tones and the hints of shadows: I hear sale items like to stick to the shadows. This is really well done and I can sense hints of the inevitable frenzy in the background, lurking just out of camera range.

Penso che l'allestimento dei negozi sia la parte più bella di essi. personalmente mi piace molto osservare la composizione delle vetrine , alcuni allestimenti sono un vero capolavoro.

I like malls as a place to walk around in the cold winter months. At least your mall is located downtown where you can either walk around there or go outside and see the usually more interesting downtown area. Great capture.
