Description

I'm thoroughly enjoying my new teaching job, but right now it's leaving me very little time for dabbling in art. However, my previous image/collage, "Predators:Extras", gave me the idea to rummage around in my archives, where I've discovered a number of different takes on previous works that I've posted, so for the next little while I'll be reprising some of these alternative universes. Some images, like the one above, simply represent a different camera angle to the original post, some may be early versions that veered off in different directions, and others may be incomplete versions that I may take some time to add to, or maybe even finish... I like this ultra modern series. Start to tell a story or give us enough 'material' to make our own. Nice and clean work with good elements.

Your a teacher? Hope you teach the difference between your and you're and maybe then and than. (sorry, pet peeves of mine) Very cool to see this scene from a different POV. Works just as well as the original but puts the emphasis on the ship and pilot rather than the girl and the kitty.

Congratulations on your new teaching job! What fun! I'm sure your students will enjoy your class and learn much. I love the contrast in action between the pilot and the crew. The pilot looks as if she'd love to jump up and play with the cat too. Both versions are wonderful. Glad you had the foresight to kept the alternate version.

I really like this, what makes it even more fun is comparing how different of a mood there is simply because of the shift in the camera-angle. This one is kind of cute and charming, while the other one has a totally different feel due to the events going on outside the ship. Really fun work!
