Description
As illustrator usually I creates artworks for book covers or magazines on demand, but I long toyed with the idea to create illustrations of classic science fiction novels to put on the royalty free market, as usual for my spare pruduction.
Here's the cover of the novel Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke first published in 1972.

Awesome cover, would have been perfect for the book. My only suggestion would be to rotate the flare slightly so it's not so vertical, more dynamic.
