Description

I'm still in that little hole. You can see little smoke in the background possible from the burning wood. No rain that day so I can't say from water or steam. There is a lot of fallen trees. Lava would touch tree, it burns at its base and the tree will fall. The top of the tree would fall on the already cooler crusted lava and thus not burn completely. Closer to me, you can see the little gas jets on the lava caused by the burning twigs and gas is trying to escape. You can tell the difference between the old lava and the new fresh lava. You see no smoke from the lava itself. Now check out the scenes from the TV show "Man vs Wild" and tell me what you think. Aloha and thank you for viewing... "Movie 1" "Movie 2"

Another fantastic photograph. If the guy was faking the film, he should be made to do it again--without faking it.

It is interesting to see the little gas flames. The videos were interesting to watch and read the disclaimers added by the Discovery channel. I thought the guy looked like a total idiot with no common sense or respect for the lava, even before I knew it was fake. But it was interesting to see the lava and ignore the guy.
