I really love the way you take a photograph and turn it into something...well...into actual, bonafide art. Visually, this is a superb composition, full of life and refreshing greenery, and a superb mood. In terms of mood, it's quite idyllic, without dipping into the area of cliche...and on top of it all, you've gone and made a painting out of this: or aged it (perhaps) in a way reminiscent of a time-beaten daguerrotype, heliotype, or something not-necessarily in color, but really thick and heavy with the sorts of texture and sensuality that you can only get from something aged and venerable. This is excellent work. Yeah, and I guess it comes as no surprise that it's making a quick trip into my favorites' file...an event just one click away from my posting of this comment. When I see an image like this, I'm always glad to see the "ADD IMAGE" button just above.
