HI there, i am michael and been working on writing a book and its just a weird thing but the ship in my book is named SIGMA-99 have a nice day and the pic is really cool and the lighting need to use three lights a key , back, fill, key=120% and back 90%, fill=50% your global illumination turn it down to 0% the is like no light in space other than light bouncing off of things, you need to put that sun or flare about 100MM from the Planet, the back side of the planet should be black, like ink to many stars, and your camara turn the FOD back a little, the sun thingy looks like its sitting on the station , so putting the sun way back will cast a shadow on the planet..........michael

If the bright spot is the sun then your light sources are all wrong. IF the sun is behind that structure around the earth, the part of the structure facing the camera would be almost blacked out.
