Been two years since I did anything on here. As you can see, I've been distracted by a small human ! She's grampa's buddy, learning to play the drums, etc..... It's been so crazy with the munchkin running about, that i just got away from Daz. And then when I did get the itch, I was terrified that I'd be in the middle of a render, and the grandkids would pop into the man cave ! Not a big deal with the 2yr old, but our grandson's 11yrs old, and I tend to render nudes. Didn't feel like having that discussion....
But anyways, lets see if I can figure this crap out again ! ~Mike~

I use the "Fog Tool Deluxe 3" from nerd3D over at Daz, easy to work with and renders beautifully, all kinds of different preset morphs for it for inversions, ground fog, snow, etc. I also use Jepe's "SteamZ" for alot of effects involving mists, smoke, and hazes. I'd recommend either, both are highly useful and beat painting it in postwork. I like the PoV on this and your character's a knock-out.

I love this image, even is the fog is not looking as you want it, that tool is indeed not easy to hangle, therefore I make it always with postwork!

Hey Mike, Rendering fog? Why? What for? Don't do it! Free fog brushes here: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=Fog+Brushes#/d1xe4tu and here: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=Fog+Brushes#/d92qgr If you want some tips on how to use them, let me know. --jim
