Description

I watched "Riverworld" recently (Not a bad movie for a TV production, even though it is quite pale compared to Philip Jose Farmer's books). The concept of the nearly endless river was what turned into the inspiration for this image. The combination of clouds and reflections caused a very long render time (16 hours), but I find the result was worth it. The islands are meta-blobs with displacement materials. Set up and rendered in Vue 9 infinite. TD
