Description

Ant-ology 2. Ant lady 1: Blah-blah! Blah?... Ant lady 2: Blah, blah, blah, Ipod...! Ant lady 1: Blah-blah?..Ipod? Blah-blah? Ant lady 2: Blah! Ipod! Blah-blah-Android!.. Ant Lady 1: Blah-blah, Android? Blah?.. Thank you for your comments and suggestions! If ants get cell phones I'm sure the same would happen as among humans. When I walk around in my hometown, Copenhagen in Denmark I see a lot of people looking constantly at their cellphones with a loving gaze or enthusiastic talk into it without seeing the possible obstacles f.x. me! A sharp look and I totally disappear out of their private world again. I'm not against cell phones for they can be very practical tools but I feel the "super users" miss a lot of contact to the world they pass by daily. And lots of accidents happen because of cell phone talk in the wrong places - even a cause of death. It looks like almost all inventions have two sides! Maybe in a year or two there will be therapy groups for cell phones addicts around the world? I can see a lot of funny stuff in these sessions! It is late her, so I say good night! Rhanagaz. Freebies: dyraven(shopping bag); Sherwood (cell phone); Trekkiegrll(beer can & paper) ;helmet(Antony Appleyard) - thank you!

Looks like the standard of ant life is improving. In the old days a leaf and a dragonfly was enough.

Don't use a cell phone but think some people are down right rude because of them. As soon as the thing rings they forget about what they are doing and answer the phone. Even during appointments they stop what they are doing to answer the phone. Drives me crazy how obsessed people are with these things.

Well, I carry two when I'm working - my personal phone, and the one issued by my company. Most times I'd like to thrown them under a truck. My work phone is more of a handheld computer - it's horrid as a phone without the little bluetooth thingy. My personal cell is just that - a cell phone. I use it for phone calls - it doesn't take photos, play MP3s, play World of Warcraft, or make coffee. It's a bloody phone! LOL! Yeah, I think people are far too wrapped up in the things. We went to the grocery store today, and I'd estimate that at least 40% of the people shopping were doing so with a cellphone stuck in their ears. Anyway, this is a wonderful sequel to your last Ant-ology! So delightful!

Although I have a cellphone I use it very seldom and hardly ever take it out of the house. I just don't like being too available. Super image and thanks for your thoughts on the subject of cellphone usage. :-)

Agree 100% on your observations. You go into resteraunts and people are talking on their cell phones or playing apps and not even talking to each other. I mean, why are you even going out with people if you cannot connect eye to eye. You would be better off talking to each other with your cell phones than face to face. And drivers, don't even go there.

Outstanding work, Johnny! I hate cellphones! I almost got killed when I was turning left (I have protected left turn light). Then a younger man, he was busy texting and ran a red light, I have to swerve so much luckily I did not hit the other car that was waiting for the red light on the left. He just missed me by a foot or else I'm not even here. There should really ban those when driving, they can cause the life of others.

well acellphone for me was (is)always only a means of contacting someone when im on the road,be it for beeing late for an appointment or something like this. i usually dont use it just to say hallo how are??just for the fun. in fact i have rather a phonophobia having worked with 3 phone lines and 2 pcs simultan in my job.gruesome i tell you. but the good side is phones f..ed up my nerves and i got early retirement lol. but i must admit while having been in luxembourg with the young generation ,and back home in spain i had to get me an android phone for fun's-sake.lol. this morning i finally discovered how to answer an incoming call.(after 4 days of owning the bugger) you need at least a university degree to be able to handle the mofu.lol. excellent work johnny.

Another funny one and very well done...everywhere in the world people are addicted to their cell phones, even in shops "shall I take the blue box or the red one ? maybe some eggs ?"...it kills me !

Therapy for cell phones? I would have thought by now there would be at least two: "mobile phone elbow" and "texting thumb syndrome" ... Great ant world!
