Description

this was actually taken in 2006... I found some of my older photos that I archived and wanted to play with yet again. I like this one... the view you are seeing is the winnipeg river, near pinawa manitoba. I have been pretty busy over the weekend.had a couple hockey games.. yesterdays game I apparently took over 500 photos so i'm trying to pare them down to a reasonable number... you might see photos for a little while till I have time to render again oh ya..I think i took this with my olympus fe 140... that i no longer have..it was stolen ..although it didn't work well anymore...so ..I would guess the thieves weren't too impressed..lol

This is a superb shot. It doesn't strike me as chilly so much as just rich. I love the details and the clarity...and yeah, isn't it funny when someone steals a non-working camera? I mean, it'll cost them to fix it! I love that. I like this shot immensely too! I'm quite glad you posted it, especially since I get to pick out so many details, including that interesting ladder shape I didn't even see until I zoomed to full view. Those darker trees in the distance remind me of a castle or something, and that's always a good thing. The snow-laden trees are like a band of cloud, and well...that just puts something nicely dreamy into this shot. This is brilliant work.
