Description
Part of the meet and greet was at the Golden Gate bridge. This is where a fort is built under the span. There were Civil War reenactors at the fort and I will post those later To quote "Fort Point was built between 1853 and 1861 by the U.S. Army Engineers as part of a defense system of forts planned for the protection of San Francisco Bay. Designed at the height of the Gold Rush, the fort and its companion fortifications would protect the Bay's important commercial and military installations against foreign attacks." You can see a view like no other from here.
Thanks again Costa for hosting.
I encourage other members to try a meet and greet in your area. A lot of fun seeing the people behind the art and just meeting some darn nice people.

Just as open and honest as a shot can be. You did a great job with it. The touch of fog is the crowning touch. I had such a great time spending the day with you and the rest, and I am using my gift now...getting used to it. I think it will come in very handy and thank you so much!

Every time I view a pic of your amazing bridge, (here in Oz) I am always in awe of it - because it's such a distinguished landmark and immediately think of Frank Sinatra (?) and want to break out into THAT song, LOL ... Your 'meet and greet' sounded just great again, half your luck Greg, (and members of RR) congrats ! BB PS so why do they call it 'Golden Gate' ? when it always appears to be RED! LOL
