Mein Lehrmeister, um den jetzt all meine Gedanken kreisen, da ich es kaum erwarten kann, ihn in der Anderswelt wiederzusehen, dort, in weiter Ferne, jenseits der Nebelschwaden...Wir Druiden dachten zu recht, dass die Schrift unser Wissen nicht erstarren lassen dürfe, dass wir durch das Wort und nicht in Manuskripten übermitteln sollten. Doch der Untergang der Druieden vollzog sich, und nun, da die anderen verschwunden sind, müssen wir schriftlich festhalten, was sonst für immer verloren ginge. Meine Erinnerungen brechen mir das Herz, wandeln in Tränen, und meine Tränen vermischen sich mit der Tinte....
