Description

We were sure glad to see this guy, or we'd still be stuck in our driveway, there was about 18" all up and down the street. They were still digging out a cross street down the road, it had 5' high and who knows how long drifts across it, they were using front end loaders for that task. Thanks for looking and your comments.

They certainly must be a welcome sight. It has been a nasty winter for most, even here in Florida, but it was 84 degrees yesterday.

It looks like the snow is falling as fast as he can push it away, kudos to the men and women that do that job, I had them in my neighborhood a few weeks back. Impressed how quickly they get out to the neighborhoods in my town. Stay safe and warm.

Well I guess it all depends on what State you live in or Country...Yes as you stated ... I too have lived in locations over my life time where they can be your best buddies(most are commendable this is true)and then well....where I'm located now I have the... Snow Plow Driver from HELL!!... ROFL.... (Pictures soon...forth coming) Absolute Grand Capture!.. Though where I'm at now they don't use trucks...it's a Road Grader with a "V-Blade and Side Discharge" which when you live in a Lake effect Zone they are the right tool for the job...

Great shot. This is a familiar sight here in Norway. When it snows, an armada of plowtrucks are sent out at once. We are ready for it. 2ft of snow is just a walk in the park.

No sleep while the storm brews and no rest while the snow falls. Makes for long nights and days, but it is winter work. Well captured
