Description

Well I have power at the moment. I hope it stays. Storm moving in soon, might actually see snow :( Nasty icy stuff anyway, Thanks for all the comments. I will work tonight as long as they don't cancel. As to heat... My whole house is electric and the well too. So no power means nothing works. They said they were doing 10 to 45 min rolling blackouts. Well mine lasted 10 hrs... Cheryl

Beautiful image Cheryl, I hope your power stays on, it is times like this most folks around here own a generator. Can not afford no heat when the temps hit -50 like the other day. The temps are moderating a lot today, might even get up close to freezing, but only for a day then back into deep freeze.

What you need my dear is a GROUP HUG!.....maybe that in itself will help warm your bones...I have an extra seat next to my wood burner...(smile)... I had a house once with electric heat and after losing power on several mid winter occasions I decided the next house will have a fireplace or wood burner simply because if the power goes you can still have heat....Fireplace/Wood burner is a must if you live in a 4 season climate like Wisconsin...I was just fortunate enough to be able to find a home with one as folks here don't usually sell these types of homes...They hang onto them for life..Hope everything works in your favor and on the brite side...Ground Hog didn't see his shadow.. Hurray!!!!! Nice Design Once Again!

Gee Cheryl... stay warm Hun. This spring you may want to think about a small Honda Generator. They are quiet, and start with one easy pull. Mine will power my refrigerator, big-ass- Alienware Area 51 Computer, Television and hotplate with no problem. We lost power in Vegas once for a full day to a wind storm and a gallon of gasoline lasted a day and a half. In the winter, it sure would be nice to have an electric blanket.

Yikes! 10 hours is a long time! After one hurricane, the street my brother lives on was split down the middle. On the East, they had electricity. On the West, they didn't. Lights off for almost 2 weeks. If you drove down the street, you ran over dozens of extension cords stretched across the road to keep everyone's refrigerator working! I don't know how you created this fractal, but I really like it! Beautiful work! Linda

is buying a gernerator an idea? ...ya know, the governments on planet earth have talked about "global warming" = they don't take it too serious.... but, if ya think our atmosphere gets a hole, wouldn't we get global freezing? well, I'm just like the politicians of planet earth - it's not going to happen today - lol.... I would of named this picture - ELECTIFYING
