As seen from Coit Tower-Russian Hill.
This was one of the stops on PJ's tower of San Francisco this past weekend. I had promised her that at the bottom of the hill and after hiking almost 3 miles a treat would be waiting for at us at one of the best little Italian Bakeries in North Beach. "The Ultimate Canoli"

Not only did I get the best canoli I've ever had, but the best company and a fabulous view of the city and an opportunity to see the marvelous Coit Tower up close. :-) This is lovely... as you said, similar but different. :-)
