About Deedee:
She specialises in 3D character portraits in the fantasy / sci-fi / horror genres. Deedee was first attracted to the idea of creating 3D artwork back in 2004 when she first started posting art online. Â Having tried many of the low end hobbyist packages in the past few years, her preferences are Carrara 6 for modelling, Vue 6 for landscapes and Poser 7 for figure posing and animation. Her influences include vampires, bad 80s horror and fantasy films, heavy metal and the works of Poe, Lovecraft & their contemporaries. You get the picture...

really like it . . . the funny thing is I've done some images with a similar feel, that volumetric fog is such a great horror effect, very "Mario Bava" if you know his work. Great render. The shape of the house to the rear of the werewolf is kinda confusing, though -- at first I thought it was his wing, or something . . . a case where depth of field helps by blurring the far objects.

Very nicely put together. I like the cool colors of the character contrasted with the oranges in the fog. Nice effect. :)
