Great use of a tricorn altered bulb. The coloring you chose helps it fit wonderfully with the background image you used. Excellent work.

It defies the laws of physics but not the esthetics of fine art. I love the form, colors and lighting.

Must of been a render that you wasn't going to wait for(noting all the jagged edges)...I too get some really fantastic designs/scenes/fractals that I just can't wait myself for because they come attached with a lengthy rendering time...IMO George...I can't say if I would or would not of let the above fully render myself but it surely would of been one to let go to actually see the complete final results...Not saying at all that the above doesn't hold it's own beauty/weight...just saying I would of loved to see the above go through the complete render cycle...(smile)... You know I'd rather give you an honest opinion then sugar coat it...How can one improve or learn if everyone always says nice job...(smile)... Curious to know exactly how long the actual render time was that made you decide to stop it?...

Dang ol Man.. you're hurting my little brain trying to figiure out how you did this. My best guess is a program that converts a fractal to geometry and then rendered in bryce with unique textures. It does seem to be a bit rough.. sans anti-alias.. but I kinda like the ridges. What ever it is, it looks very cool. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)
