Description

- The nobleman's little son and his escort/guardian, the knight, have been forced to take a break at the local forester/blacksmith/hunter deep in the forest. The horse had lost a shoe, and was beginning to limp and being irritable. Fortunately the forester was the man for the job... - Second render of the "series" (it *could* become one). First one can be viewed here thumb_2159181.jpg I finally got this one put together, one of my more complicated scenes. Mainly due to the characters, who needed dressing and posing, and also proved to be very tough on Vue (as expected *G*). I really struggled with resource drops and out-of-memory errors on preview renders. Vue, Poser and Photoshop for some levels adjustments and touch-ups. Items from DAZ, CP, C3D and myself. Trees with Onyxtree. Some artistic license taken :) The houses are probably a little too modern for this to be "realistic", but much to my surprise they actually had horseshoes as early as 500 A.D. in Europe. Not that it would have made any difference for the composition, it was a good idea for a scene anyway :) Thanks for viewing and comments. Have a nice day - Lars

Now here we have a real masterpiece, a work of fine art. Not the lightest touch of Poser look in the figures, they all look completely natural. It could be a work of Constable, except that he could not made it so photo realistic. The light is superb. And best of all, we don't know if it is fantasy or reality, it could be either! This kind of work you will never see at CG Society they are far too commercial.

nice render and lighting, I have noticed that you are beginning to use some kids in it which I have never seen on your past render scenes. I like the textures, sticks, misc things on the ground.

I must agree with Vintorix this is indeed a masterpiece! Everything is so natural and the composition as if I'm viewing the actual scene. Your work always amazes and inspires me but this is on another level. I love it, period, it's perfect.

I had to give this one a rating. No way around it. I need to show this to friends that ask me what can one do with 3D software.
