Description

Inspired by a TV news article about a boy, here in Florida, that was making a video of an otter swimming in the canal by his house. The video showed the adorable little creature peacefully swimming around in the water. When he came to the boys yard he exited the water and ran after the boy who finally had to stop filming as he he dropped the camera and was brutally attacked by the otter. The news said it was the second such attack by otters in several weeks. The little buggers obviously did not like having his pictures taken without their consent. My otters do not live in Florida so they are better behaved. Hahaha. Hope you enjoy my well behaved otters. Thank you to all who commented on my very crude foray into sci-fi with "Rise of the Phoenix" you were very kind and generous and I really appreciate the encouragement. It was not what I had hoped but I really loved doing it and I did love the idea and colors. Perhaps I'll rework it someday. Otters by Content Paradise, grass is Irish Grass, and flowers are Alphine Garden from Cornucopia. Some grass by AisleFX.

Very pretty & peaceful. And I love all your little bits about Florida, being a native Floridian transplanted to Arkansas. But I'll be sure to avoid wild otters when we next visit!

Love the serenity of this scene and enjoyed the Floridian otter story. Not all cute critters are nice. A lesson learned the hard way when I was 11 years old when I went to get my godfather’s pet squirrel and it chewed and mauled my hand something fierce. Very well done render…lol…thanks for the memories.

I love your happy looking otters and I'm sure they are too well behaved to attack anyone. This is a very beautiful scene with great lighting and a wonderful ambiance. A beautiful spot on this river.

Beautiful picture, nice realistic riverbanks like this are difficult to make! The POV makes you feel that you are standing there. Otters are industrious fellows that never procrastinate -they do today, never tomorrow! A masterpiece.

For the anecdote, after visiting with my wife, we visited a wildlife park near Paris, and through an authorized path, we were attacked at the ankles by a troupe of a dozen ducks ... a bit then gave way to another ... always a beautiful composition of greenery and water, symbol of peace and quiet disturbed by ... ... that otters are wild animals and unruly!

Love the story they must be the giant type you have in Florida, I bet that little boy won't be filming them any more!! Wonderful image I love the way you show the river going round a bend and the far distance. Very life like and a stunning scene yet again.
