Description

Bryce7Pro/Photoshop Three fighters escort an un-armed supply ship across a frozen planet to it's destination at a distant outpost, the pilots scanning the landscape for possible pirate ships. All items created in Bryce.Fighters are a Bryce6 model, textured with a combination of presets and photo-textures from CGTextures.Supply ship created in Bryce7Pro,with a window texture(customized) from CGTextures and a hull texture created in the DTE using two procedurals that I modified. The terrain is a custom, with a ProMaterial texture applied, the ground plane is rendered in a ProMaterial(ice floes).Sky,light and atmo are all custom. The sky was used as the IBL for the scene, with intensity reduced,HDRI increased and sunlight enabled.Rendered in default Superfine setting.Postwork involved a slight levels boost ,lights on supply ship, and signature.

That's a wonderful set of ships, I agree that those textures are really nice, especially the one on the big transport. Your ship models are always excellent and very creative, and these certainly exemplify how good you are not only at modeling them, but also at presenting them in a very eye-catching scene with excellent composition and a very professional quality piece. Great job!

Great modelling Neil, it sure looks cold in that landscape. Always like reading your descriptions of modelling and texture work. Tony.
