Sunrise and sunset shots are always an incredible marvel and this is one of them! I love that you're on a quest to find the perfect one...it's a noble quest to undertake. This is definitely a success. I love the intense and rich colors, and the title makes me think of one of my favorite science fiction stories ever, The Light of Other Days...a rather surprising and emotional piece of hard science fiction: the kind of thing you'd least expect from a genre that focuses on things other than emotion. In a sense, your photo captures the mood of that story, more in the sense of capturing something fleeting and preserving it. How marvelous...I love this shot and the associations it's created in my mind.
