Description

An attempt on an idea. Pestilence, with a cowboyish, steampunk flair? I don't know...honestly. Credits to follow if/when this gets finalized.

I just am not so sure of this one, Mike. You know how it goes. I'm not satisfied with how it came out and I thought it was best to throw it in the gallery before it followed the last five I've worked on into the trash. :) I'm a picky one! Thank you, everyone, for the commenting and advice!

at first glance, it made me think of Freddy Krugar riding a lava horse from hell - lol

I really like him, the body shape, the cowboy look fits very well. I do like what you did with the horse to make him appear diseased as well. Fits the character. The background with the swap is great. One observation. Not sure the stepping down of the horse fits the lay of the land there. It also makes for the sensation the horse is falling, which may or may not be what you wished to come across. I know he's stepping down from the rock, but just saying that it could be seen another way. Might be more effective with a different pose of the animal, or maybe some water splash around the foreleg as if he's riding into the swamp. I dunno. I think you should keep with it though. Definitely on to something with this.

great start....i ilke the rider, interesting character, not sure on the textures of the ride though, i would prefer something a little less " bright", i can see where you are going with it, perhaps it's the lighting....sorry just being picky. Superb idea though, look faorward to developments of this one

Pestilence = brilliant! Roar-purrr-snuggle The horse texture work is wonderful Dar. I like the 'calm before the storm' vibe, but can also see this guy about to throw that evil missile - would it be worth trying a pose where he's about to do so - eyes on target, evil look in eyes? Possibly a more dramatic POV (and more exaggerated lens) and he's about to throw in the viewers direction? Just thoughts... Loves AJ
