..Yes folks, this isn't just a play on words, can you believe this IS actually a Doll? These realistic dolls were first created in Spain by Jose Berenguer in 1944 and are created today by his Son, Salvador Berenguer. They are sold in the US by JC Toys and are often used for "Reborning" and are considered quite collectable. Thanks for looking and any comments! :)

so cute but I can see it is a doll. It is amazing so how real they do look when they where used for reborn work The Pose of this doll is very realistic though

SO realistic! There are giveaways ... I figured it for a doll before I read what you wrote ... but WOW! First glance I thought it was a baby, second glance had me looking a third time, and that's how long it took me to figure it out. What an outstanding job they did! Your photograph is gorgeous. Very nicely done!
