Description

Keodombah led the two warriors through the safest path in the very dangerous jungles and outlying forests of "Piker's Torchlands". One of the backwater worlds at Satan's hind end of a Dull Blue Galaxy. This edge of space couldn't even be seen with the most powerful of Radio Telescopes on Captain Villacaeva's homeward. Keodombah was the Captain's "Man" ... that is if a Woompah was to be considered a "Man". They were closer to what in Earther Mythology would have been considered a "Goblin". It is said of Goblins that they had an ancestry in common with a certain type of Lizard that grows wild in the Isles of the Britains. The Brits considered Goblins to be related to the Troll folk living in the deep caverns beneath a hill in Wales called "Bryn yr Ellyllon" and somewhere (though quite rarely) beneath what is now a Casle named Yester Casle or "Goblin Hall" to the native peoples of Scotland. Though these particular "Goblins" never even heard of Earth they nonetheless had the same reputation for being extremely evil and nasty creatures. It seems that the Warrior cast of the Doomlala were the only creatures under God's star studded heavens that the Woompah didn't consider a death prey. All other living entities were considered only good for killing and depositing in the Stew Pots. Hamenin rode atop one of the imported Earther beasts. The bigger of the two that was called a "Rhino" by the Earthers themselves (or Rhinocerus if one was to be literally exact in naming one), and Forlinorym was atop an equally dangerous creature named a "Tiger". A class of extremely large "Cat", much like the Grilmer of this world called "Piker's Torchlands". Hamenin and Forlinorym had both paid the Woompah 20 units of fresh Koodah meat. A choice food much valued by Woompahs, though Keodombah would have scouted for the two for the favor it would have indebted them toward him. A favor earned of the Warriors of this world was worth more than even one's eldest son and, to a Woompah, family was everything.

A little more complex work this time around... a story with this one as well... took most of the day arranging and rearranging this one till I thought it looked right.. Hope you enjoy it and the story that it comes with.. I want to dedicate this one to my dearest friend, kelvinhughes, because he has never lost faith in my artwork and always has such nice things to say. I enjoy the conversations we have (as close to a conversation as you can get in private messages) and he always cheers me up when he comments my stuff here... to you my friend..... gene
