Description
This is Mandy - Bill and Tara's dog. She is the most gorgeous canine and I was thrilled to meet her. Bill and Tara took me to their local beach on my first morning in Seattle. I tried several shots of Mandy but I was warned that she doesn't like the camera. It was rather chilly although beautifully sunny and at some stage Bill picked Mandy up. (She loves the beach but I do not think she is the fittest doggie in Seattle. LOL...) It was when she couldn't run anywhere or turn away from me that I managed to shoot off this image.

That's right... there are really very few animals in the world that are spoiled... but the number of pampered pets is extraordinary. :-) Great shot, Carin and I definitely see this is a very well mannered and pampered pooch.

Thanks Carin...this came out great. I'd show it to Mandy right now but she is out in the kitchen for dinner...which means she'll be back in here in under five minutes looking for a little chicken from my sandwich:) Oh, well...she knows what she likes. Excellent portrait indeed. She wants to know where Tannie Carin is?

What a great portrait! I picked her up to show her this picture, and another one on Bill's monitor of Andrea's Fritz. She acted very interested at first, but got bored as soon as she realized there was no chicken to be had up here. (She begged like a champ for our chicken sandwiches, but nothing was forthcoming. She's endlessly optimistic, though! LOL! Now we're getting that "you didn't feed me" glare. Of course she's already had her dinner, she's just being a poot.) She looks quite regal in this shot! I'm sure if she didn't have cataracts and could actually SEE it, she'd be very impressed! I did tell her you took the picture, and her ears perked up. She really does miss her Tannie Carin!

What a shot! I love the expression on her face, and the fact that she's actually staying still. My only dog photos (so far) involve Kate's dog Molly, and I think Molly is a canine/high-energy-particle mix...something like a canine neutrino. She's fast. She's active. She's a dog-shaped blur in half of my photos of her; she's adorable (and she knows it. She's also quite young.) I love this shot of Mandy...she's becoming quite a well-known lady here on Renderosity, and with good reason. She's adorable and actually stays still long enough to show you that she's adorable! Her expression is priceless. This is a fantastic shot.
