Description
Poser hates me. While waiting for it to start again after the Xth crash, Brigit lights up a cigar for René.
This image was made in January - before my Poser decided to drive me insane.

It just crashed again. Seems I can't render and have a browser open at the same time any longer. I will now re-install P8 without the last dang service release (No. 3), since all my troubles started after I installed that one.

OMG, I know, I know! Poser has a voracious appetite for RAM. When I went from 4 to 12GB of RAM, most of my Poser woes subsided. It still sometimes crashes on complicated renders though. I think that may be because I'm using a Mac and can't add a really massive video card--and, I may be wrong, but I have the feeling the video card comes into play during renders too! The image is beautiful. Definitely worth the frustrations! What is so great to me -- in addition to really perfect fashion and color palette -- is the way you've orchestrated her expression and posture/pose to convey a remarkable attitude. And what was it Freud said about cigars. Beautiful work.

This has happened to me too! Render just stops dead if I open a browser. But to your work. I love the reds here. A beautiful portrait, and the cigar and her pose really convey a great mood.:)

This is gorgeous! I am glad you were able to get this one out! Have you tried Edit, general preferences and clicking Separate Process under the render tab? That worked for me before I got my new system.
