What an ingeniously inventive image. And perfectly named by a geotechnical guy. It looks to me like part of the hardware package you installed on Vesuvius, still ticking after all these years. Would I be correct in assuming that the bulbous components are the sound generators and the background dish is the echo detector? Looks to me like something right out of Jules Verne. It fires the imagination! Superb work!
