Description
One of my new models. Modelled with Rhino 3D and rendered in Cinema4D as usual. It was a test to make a metal texture. It's really not easy, but it works, at least when the aircarft is in air. With a air base scene it does not work really fine. I hope to get a better solution for Cinema.

The 'Squash' bomber lives! If the metals not working for you, maybe a grungy camo will do the trick.

gchuck, yes I made a version with camo too, but I wanted to make am metal finish. I needed such a texture for other projects too. The camoflaged Thud is coming soon ;-)

Good luck! shiny metal is a hard one, easy to make a model reflective....but you lose all the markings.... This is a good image, almost got it, but as it's been pointed out to me in the past, they were not THAT shiny in combat situations......plane washing not being a priority. Top marks for the modelling, and a suitably impressive bomb load.
