Description
This is a capture I took yesterday afternoon of my eldest Daughter Nadene. They had a fund raising at school and the theme was Valentine modelling. She looked so beautiful i could not resist to take some pictures of her. She is 16 years old now. There is a wall corner to the right of my daughter and the sun was setting there. I did a setup. Setup my camera on the tripod. Used aperture setting at F8.0.ISO 400. Used self timer of 10 seconds.I stood to the right of my daughter using a white reflector directing as much sunlight as possible on her face. I would like every ones opinion on this capture. I am mad about this capture though.Whit balance was set on Auto.

I think it looks great. The light is blown out a tad on her neck, but still it's a very pretty portrait. Maybe one way to make it even better would be to clone out those dirty marks on the wall. She is lovely and you have captured her well.

Nice shot! Personally, I like shots with strong highlights. All I would suggest is a close macro of her pretty eyes!

It shows a loss of depth but now you have vibrant colors with the strong lighting Christo. It's always a trade-off, but DO NOT EVER stop experimenting. You have the gear, you have the time and above all you have the MODEL, take advantage of that. She is beautiful... It's hard to think you are an old "ballie" like I am! Well almost! :D
