I finally found out why the Pittsburg Steelers seemed to have such a terrible time catching the ball last weekend in the Super Bowl. They have a new equipment manager and he had heard how much the recievers like to spike the ball when they celebrate touchdowns. So in his mind, he really thought they wanted spikes on the ball. Today's image is a close up of the football the equipment manager altered for his team. It is easy to see why if that ball was flying at great speed towards you, it would likely hurt a lot to catch it. We now have a good reason for so many dropped passes.

There will be a Burr like that up the Butt of all football fans if next seasons NFL is is derailed by Collective Bargaining. I'm on the verge of Boycotting all Football Pro and College. It's all about Money, The College Bowl Games used to be looked forward to on and around New Years Day on Broadcast TV, now they can only be seen on Pay Cable TV's ESPN and the Pro Players and Owners alike want a bigger piece of the Pie, makes me freakin sick. LOL. American football is weird. It strikes me as being more of a ritual than a game! Now, with Rugby--the game I really love to hate!--I'd tell them to get on with it and never mind a few prickles. Prickles are for deterring sissies. But it's not Rugby, I guess. And in any case, I really like the fractal.
