Nice choice of subject, Valentin, on St. Valentine's Day. Good composition and lighting, but where are the cucumber sandwiches and camomile tea? ;o) Happy St. Valentine's Day, my friend. The city of Glasgow claims that it has the relics of St. Valentine, within the church of Blessed John Duns Scotus. Apparently they were donated in 1868 by a French family. However both Greyfriars Church in Dublin, Ireland, and other church in Trevi, Italy, also lay claim to having the relics. Considering the antics of some modern-day 'young lovers', I think that St. Valentine might be greatly embarassed ... ;o) Waram regares as summer ( oops the heavy rains ) return to Glasgow (the 'dear green city'), John.

I'm American, but my Oma grew up in NW Germany - she always served us Tee with Kluntje (sugar crystals) or just plain old sugar if that's all she could get - and always cream, too. Three cups of Tee usually! And homemade cookies - Neejahrskoken if it was New Year's Day. But never any cucumber sandwiches! Very nice! Thanks for posting!
