Description

I was inspired by David Ho's block figures. I started using his technique which he outlines in the book "Secrets of Poser Experts". David Ho's technique/style for his block figures has a very light elegant style to the block work. I wanted something deeper and stronger for the grid aspect of the blocks so I ended up doing my own thing, but was inspired by his technique. Unfortunately the figure texture, got lost somewhat in the resizing to fit it in to the size restrictions for posting. The figure is Plain old P4 nude man, with a whole lotta post work.

We all lose something when going with the jpg's but it's a neccessary evil. The overall feeling in this isn't lost because of it though. Very powerful render well done.

This is a fun scene, superb effects. Just like something we could expect to see in a Marvel superhero movie or some such. Intriguing and clever scene, moves the mind to many different correlations. Is he being beamed up by an alien spacecraft? Has be been killed and his soul is being drawn out of his body to meet his Creator? So many creepy, fun, terrifying, amazing possibilities demonstrated so aptly in this super-cool image. I love your imagination and this fabulous realization.
