Description

I went out to do some landscapes today and this little guy caught my eye when he flew by in a splash of orange colour. It wasn't much of a flyer to be honest and it seems to me to be a cross between a butterfly and a moth. It was also only about 1cm long so just a little guy. I only managed 4 shots of it on one of about 8 perches I chased it too so being so bright must have made it a little nervous :).

What a lovely coat this critter is wearing! Reminds me of Joseph and his amazing technicolor dreamcoat! Wonderful capture Martin! I am not very fond of bugs today. Got zipped on the palm of my hand by a honey bee which I tried to rescue from the pool... I should have just left the little bugger to drown... :|
