Description
When walking in Chinatown in San Francisco, PJ and I noticed this very beautiful dress in one of the myriad of shops. I thought it was very elegant and just had to photograph it. Only when I downloaded the image I saw all the reflections from the street in the window too. There is so much to see in this image, so take your time and enjoy.

Zowie! On so many levels this has Helle written all over it--only there are no saxaphones in the window (none that I saw, at least.) I love that dress, it's got such an elegant flow to it and it's a nice anchor for the image. The reflections are amazing, as are the colors. I can't tell in some cases where reflections end and "reality" begins, and that's so great because it's like you've photographed something multifaceted, like a gem, where each facet exists at an odd and unexpected angle, so reflection and surface and everything in between sort of swims around and pulls you right in. This shot pulls you right in and it's such a sumptuous display of everything in all of the best possible ways. Yeah, I like this. It's quite an excellent piece of work.
