I want to thank everyone for their input on my last image. It was my most commented image to date!
Here are three girls... On the left is DIDI, whom some of you have seen before. On the right is MIMI, her doppelganger from the "Executive Meddling" series. I'm disappointed no one made the connection about their names... And in the middle is Vicky #5 from the last picture. If you haven't guessed, they all have the same body: BreastsLarge 1.0.
So what's this about? Well, we are concerned with the left girl, Didi. She is supposed to be "unusually large" but I am... starting to regret depicting her quite as large as this. A big part of her concept is that it's the first thing that everybody notices about her and that she has relatively poor posture because of it. She should always seem a little uncomfortable. This is SUPPOSED to be sympathetic, not "beyond belief." Is it?
Also, as I explore the idea of branching out beyond Renderosity and showing this to an audience who isn't used to seeing things like this, I fear that seeing a character like her would make viewers automatically assume they were looking at... mature material, if you will.
So, what do you think? Magic a little of it away or keep it the same?
On another note... Didi's face was developed long ago, when V4 was relatively new. I'm told that when a character looks unapologetically like a default V4, people don't go for that... I have once change to change her. The question is... should I?

I think that Didi is fine the way she is. Yes, she is unusually large, but that's what you seem to have been going for. And her face is fine by me.

If I were you I'd leave Didi as she is. Your characters are vivid not because they are perfect simulations of the physical reality but because your depictions and stories/series provide them with plausibility. I cannot see that Didi looks very much like the original V4. And regarding the mature subject I think: Who cares? Since you're illustrating a period of about 40 years of developement you won't get out of featuring maturity (as long as you don't restrict yourself to fairytales).

FYI... When I said "mature material" that was a euphemism. I didn't mean "stories about senior citizens." :-)

As in the advertising and business world where it's NOT a good idea to change a worked-in logotype, I doubt any changes to Didi would be good - people won't recognize her, or loose interest. IF you start posting her to another site where she's NOT known, you could make changes. You'll be working youself into a new area where the change would not be a problem. I feel Knechtruprecht is quite right - your stories/depictions give your characters a sense of reality. The physical appearances add to the reality since nobody is "perfect" or "normal" - we all have our physical and psychological individuality (thank goodness!). That's much of the charm with your characters. So, this leaves me wondering: Why are you enquiring about changes? Are you tiring of your characters, or has someone been unduly critical of your work? The middle girl is typically V4. The right one less so, but Didi is Didi to all your viewers - we see her as a person, not as V4 (she sure doesn't look V4!). Keep up the good work! :-)

Your Didi looks fine, she reminds me of someone I knew - I think she's better-looking than Mimi.

I've always had the impression that Didi had a sweet/kind nature, which is her most appealing feature. If she were less so, she'd be much less of a 'real' person. If she was disfigured, would you suddenly go "nah, let's fix it"? Any people who are saying "oh she looks too much like a V4" should probably get out more themselves. They should not be your problem. Oh, and keep up the good work :)

Sorry, I'm late! I knew I missed something today, THIS - and all three look gorgeous, big boobies or not! No No No - DO NOT change Didi, she is who she is, and I simply love her. While I hate big titties, they happen to run in the family, so we all hate them, but we love each other. She is like a part of MY family, yes - I have red heads in my family as my background is very multicultural and she would fit right in. As for what other sites might think, well - what kind of site are you thinking of taking Didi to? Better not be a naughty site for ADULTS... she belongs in a setting where all kinds will come to read about the antics that take place in her life. So first, leave her alone, don't change her facial features, don't change her bust size, and second, careful of where you move this story to, I wouldn't want to see Didi in a dive of some sort where seedy readers think sleaze when they see her. Now that's my opinion on it.

Wonderful presentation of these lovely ladies! Amazing how different clothing can play such a huge part in perception! Exquisitely beautiul, natural looks on all of them! Stunning creativity and play!
