Description

Again another "what if" frome the WWII. The Haunebu III Do-Stra (Dornier STRAtosph¤ren Flugzeug) was a larger prototype of the Haunebu series (71 meter diameter) designed as bomber/flying gunboat flying. A lone prototype may have been built before the close of the war. It was crewed by 32 and could achieve speeds of between 7,000- 40,000 km/h The escort fighters are some Dornier Do 335 Pfeil. The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil ("Arrow") was a World War II heavy fighter built by the Dornier company. The two-seater trainer version was also called Ameisenb¤r ("anteater"). The Pfeil's performance was much better than other twin-engine designs due to its unique "push-pull" layout and the much lower drag of the in-line alignment of the two motors. The first 10 Do 335 A-0s were actually delivered for testing in May. By late 1944, the Do 335 A-1 was on the production line. French ace Pierre Clostermann claimed the first Allied combat encounter with a Pfeil in April 1945. Rendered in Bryce 7, postwork with Photoshop 7. The original file is 3636x2020 pixels. - The image is better in full size - Comments and rates are warmly welcomed!!! :) VISIT MY WEBSITE!!! www.innovari.it Many free sci-fi Bryce obj objects, and NO registration!!! :) Luca Oleastri (a.k.a. duo, a.k.a.
