Description

The River Wharfe rises at Beckermonds and follows a 60 mile journey before reaching the River Ouse. The name Wharfe is Celtic and means "twisting, winding". This section flows through Wharfedale near Bolton Abbey and is found in Bolton Woods.We did a walk there yesterday and as we rounded this bend I was taken by the moss on the rocks in the foreground.
