Description
Part of the Chinatown's charm are these stores that have everything from Baroque mirrored coffee tables, carved ivory and jade and these lifesize bronze statues. This fine fellow was opposite wysiwig's picture of the wise monkeys. There is so much stuff in these shops you could spend a day in each. They even had a figure that looked exactly like tennesseecowgirl's avatar thought she had joined us for a second.

You may remember that this was the one piece I saw on our window shopping that I simply would have to have in my house. :-) I also got a shot but I don't think its as interesting as yours. Of course, I also loved the giant turtle across the street near the monkeys. :-) This is really wonderful, Greg.

What beautiful colors on this very cute and special statue. A wonderful capture. I love the store, and that lovely curious blond lady ;-). btw, Big toes has this frog!:D
