Beautiful tribute, Carol! I'm not American, and I'm generally a peaceful person, so I'm not a fan of the fact that so many soldiers (Canadian too) have to be involved in this war. But a few of my good friends are soldiers, and while my position on war is what it is, I still have nothing but respect and gratitude to them that they do what they do. I do realise that we CAN'T all just get along, and while we can't, we need to know there are people who'll protect us. So I have nothing but respect for men and women who put themselves to the mouth of Hell so I don't have to see it for myself. I respect what soldiers do, and what they go through, what they put themselves through, for me, so I can live in peace. Thank you, to all those, Canadian, American, ... soldiers anywhere who go out to the ugliness, to face down those who seek to destroy us, in the rest of the world, so we don't have to face it at home. - Matt Carroll

after Egypt, ya gotta wonder if the whole planet is gonna go on strike - lol... The governments really do do a lot for people, I just wish they would get this "polution" thing in the past - I'd go on strike for that.
