Description
This is my latest figure I have been working on. I just finished him off yesterday. Anubis "God of the Dead". He can be found in the Ancient Egyptian text "Book of the Dead" weighing the hearts of those that have past on to the afterlife. The heart of the dead was weighed against a feather, and if the heart was not weighed down with sin (if it was lighter than the feather) the deceased was allowed to move on.
I modeled him in Lightwave, rigged and rendered him in Poser. I was going for a bit of a comic book look. I wanted him to have slightly exaggerated anatomy. I'm pretty happy with the way he came out.
Thanks for looking!

It would be interesting to see your spin upon Bast, cat headed goddess of home, hearth and protection, or Sekmet, lion headed goddess of destruction. Sincerely, Bill
