She looks so sad but contemplative. The outfit is a wonderful contrast to the blue background and it has a very night time feel. In particular I like the book (which i assume she just finished reading)on the steps. You gotta tell me how you did the candle lights though they're so very realistic looking.

Jenny, this is a wonderful piece. Her expression of sadness is perfect! I love this character as well. Life has it's ups and downs and it seems that lately there are more downs. I know how you feel. I barely have time anymore to create or comment. It's sad but we have to do what we have to in order to make it! I hope that you will pop in once in a while to say hi.
