Description
I just turned this assignment in this morning, but I like how it turned out. We were provided the scene, and we had to frame, texture, shade and light it. The bread could have turned out better, but meh. (Again, the models were provided. I did everything else.)
Sorry it's so small, that's how the teach wanted it. And I'm not about to re-render it, I have another project to do. ;P
Maya with mental ray, no post, 4 hours (damn DoF).
EDIT: Got a B-. Curse you, evil bread! *shakes fist*

I would give you an A if I were the teacher --- superb render all around!

Great looking scene! The only thing I think I'd have changed is to make the bread a bit more of a mat finish, and a displacement map, that would make it more of a crusty bread kinda thing. And now, I'm hungry drat it all!

Fantastic Maya render, Theta. Amazing realism. Looks very cool when glass, bread and bottle is in focus. 4 hours of rendering is quite some time. Would have killed my ole PC :)+5

Great looking still-life. I agree the bread looks a little too shiny, but otherwise the materials all come out very natural looking. Lovely work!
