Hello to everyone at the Renderosity community. If there is one place that I can say has helped me the most to better my understanding and ability with 3D art, Renderosity is it. As a whole, the community is quite friendly and, for the most part, helpful.
So, I would like to say thanx for all of the helpful suggestions, comments, ideas, and the freebies.
Bio: Well, I am not a professional artist. Actually, I am an engineer. I started in 3D by helping an associate with a work project in Bentleys MicroStation. I found it interesting and looked into other programs on the Macintosh platform. I experimented with Bryce, Poser, Infini-D, Amapi, and Cinema 4D. Currently, I use Poser to pose my human meshes, Cinema 4D to create, pose, and render meshes and scenes, and Photoshop for post-work.
I strongly suggest anyone just getting into 3D, or 2D, art to take a look through the tutorials on this site for great tips and ideas for your work. I have also found that other artists within the community are more than happy to answer questions, provide examples, offer suggestions, and share work with their peers. What can it hurt, drop them an IM or e-mail and ask.

You did good with this. Patience is a virtue my fellow renderosityist LOL. Seriously, I like it! MAYBE use a texture from Photo Impact 6/7 and go over the hair to give it some breaks or imperfections. Otherwise, it's pretty bad A. I like the face prop there. Let me know if you put that up in the free gallery.

Beautiful! I tried to paint hair in PSP and it came out looking like a rat's nest. You have done a remarkable job...it looks so dreamy and soft.

Thanx for the kind comments. I guess I like the image more this morning than I did last night. As to the mask, it was created in C4D. I will post it to the free section when I finish the rest of the body armor for the set. Cheers...
