Very compelling! I loved the history of the piece on your site and the reason for it. I find this WIP so good, love the eyes, so penetrating and the hard life already taking its toll on such a young one. You have such a great style, love your work!

A compelling portrait. This painting shows a very sad little girl, aged beyond her tender years, and no wonder, having to shuck oysters at 7 years old. CC
