situated in the chapel at the end of Vicars close, Wells somerset, the oldest continuously inhabited street in England. The chapel was built in 1424

Every brush stroke had to to sit, you had to deal with not being paid if the Bishop (who had no idea of true art) thought you should be burnt at the stake because you didnt follow the "Dogma" of the times!
