Description

This is part of the reason that Bailey's trips to the library are kept very brief. Who doesn't know a kid who talks too loud, and who wouldn't be grateful if this were their biggest problem? I'll let you in on my thought process for choosing the teen idol name Taffy Tyler. I wanted a lawyer-friendly pun on Tiffany, so I thought of Taffy. Well, there WAS a singer who went by that name, so I needed to add a last name. Hmm, let's see... Taffy was a Welshman, Taffy was a thief. Bonnie Tyler is Welsh... Eureka! I might actually use this one again. Bailey will probably be as raspy as Bonnie Tyler one of these days as a result of her... frequent vocal jubilance. Take a guess at two musicians I was hearing as I made this page...

Regarding vast time range in your stories I am thinking about Bailey's future. I am thinking about a number of defactos and husbands with hearing losses..

Hmm.... reminds me of what kept me awake most of Friday night. I've met a few young people (not just girls) who DIDN'T know what whisper meant - they'd use their vocal cords quite audible and thought they were whispering. Now, I wouldn't worry about the d****d lawyers. You choose whatever name you wish. Chances are, you'll come up with a name some 500,000 people around the world happen to have. How many of them view your pages? And, of those, how many would be so stupid as to want to sue you (on the assumption one of your characters is a purposeful misrepresentation of just THAT person)? I just LOVE Dad's reaction - unable to compete with Bailey, he suddenly comes to a very funny realization. Bailey might be able to get a job announcing departures at an air port or train station WITHOUT a public address system! Or, a soloist with a huge symphony orchestra (or, a loud rock band). I really liked this! Keep up the good work! :-)
